Do I need a license to ride an e-bike?
In most regions, e-bikes that meet specific power and speed regulations (typically Class 1, 2, or 3) do not require a driver's license, insurance, or registration. However, local laws vary, so we recommend checking your state or city guidelines.
How long does the battery last on a single charge?
Range depends on the model, terrain, rider weight, and pedal-assist level. On average, our ebikes offer between 35 to 60 miles per charge. You can find specific range estimates on each product page.
What is your shipping policy for oversized items?
We offer free standard shipping on all e-bikes within the continental US. Bikes are shipped 85% pre-assembled in secure, heavy-duty cartons via specialized freight carriers to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
What kind of warranty comes with my purchase?
Every e-bike from The Ebike Shop comes with a comprehensive 2-year manufacturer's warranty covering the frame, motor, and battery against defects. Wear-and-tear components like tires and brake pads are not covered.
Can I return my e-bike if I change my mind?
Yes, we offer a 14-day return policy. The bike must be in its original packaging with fewer than 10 miles on the odometer. Please note that return shipping fees and a restocking fee may apply.
Is it safe to ride an e-bike in the rain?
Our e-bikes are water-resistant (IP65 rated), meaning they can handle splashes and light rain. However, they should not be submerged in water or cleaned with a high-pressure power washer to avoid damaging electrical components.
